AMAYA ADAMS

DANCER SINGER ACTOR

About

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX (where everything is bigger) from a young age, Amaya was drawn to performing. Whether it was in the school talent show, her living room, or the grocery store, she crafted herself a  stage. After years of training competitively under Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Texas Ballet Theater members, she decided to shift her focus to concert dance. She went on to graduate within the inaugural class of I.M Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA, where she received rigorous training in the Lester Horton and Martha Graham techniques.

Still needing to scratch that theater itch, she went on to pursue Musical Theater at Texas State University, one of the top BFA programs in the country that teaches the importance of being an artist first and human second. She has not only worked as a performer but also in choreography professionally. This is a passion she strives to challenge herself in and continue pursuing.

Amaya is set to graduate in the Spring of 2026 from the BFA Musical Theatre program in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Film at Texas State University. She looks forward to being involved in projects that speak to all walks of life and motivate audiences to

take action!
